First Lady Brigitte Macron is visiting TF1 20 Hours JT this Sunday to start the 2021 edition of Operation Yellow Pieces.
According to TF1’s press release, Brigitte Macron will answer questions from Anne-Claire Coudray that will focus on Operation Yellow Pieces “but also on the current main issues.”
Brigitte Macron became President of the Fondation Hôpitaux de Paris-Hôpitaux de France in June 2019 after Bernadette Chirac resigned for health reasons.
On Saturday night, Brigitte Macron and Didier Deschamps started the promotion in a video posted on social networks, responding with humor to TF1 host Camille Combal.
The 32nd edition of Operation Yellow Pieces will take place from January 18th to February 5th. The collected donations help to improve the daily life of children and young people in the hospital. Since its inception in 1989, the company has funded more than 9,000 hospital projects.
By succeeding Bernadette Chirac as President of the Fondation Hôpitaux de Paris-Hôpitaux de France, Brigitte Macron has become more media-oriented. “Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron have the will to identify with the great personalities of the past in order to gain more stability and security,” said Philippe Moreau Chevrolet, strategy and communications advisor (subscriber link) last year. Brigitte Macron would like to follow that of the previous First Ladies, just like Emmanuel Macron Mitterrand, Chirac or Sarkozy winks in his way of speaking. It’s very thoughtful. “
