Prime Minister Jean Castex will be in Lyon this Saturday, January 16th to sign the relaunch agreement between the Auvergne, Rhône and Alpes region. “This agreement will seal the joint commitment of the state and region for recovery in the period 2021-2022 totaling 2.1 billion euros,” said the Rhône prefecture. On September 3, 2020, the government published this plan to revitalize the French economy amounting to 100 billion euros, 16 billion of which is for regionalized envelopes.
Meeting with Grégory Doucet, Pascal Mailhos and Laurent Wauquiez
After an interview with the ecological mayor of Lyon Grégory Doucet in the town hall at 12.15 p.m., the prime minister will discuss with the prefect Pascal Mailhos in the prefecture of Rhône. In the early afternoon he will finally go to the Hôtel de Région to meet the President of the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes, Laurent Wauquiez, and to sign the relaunch agreement.
