Christelle Masson has been installed in the town hall since July 2020 and spares no effort to continue the projects of her predecessors.
Among them, the renovation of the church and its surroundings plays a prominent role. The stained glass windows, the west portal, the square and one of the bays have already been restored by the Comte de Champdieu and Thomas Vitraux de Valence companies.
In total, no less than 30,900 euros were mobilized from the department and 17,089 euros from the Drac (Regional Directorate for Cultural Affairs), allowing the completion of this project, which was interrupted by the Covid but completed in June 2020.
For the next few years, Christelle Masson and her team plan to tackle the main square and the cobblestones of the city, but also the lake, the green areas and the city stadium. “It is our responsibility as elected officials to do everything we can to promote our beautiful city, whose church is listed as a historic monument,” remembers Christelle Masson, Rocheloise for 32 years and strongly attached to her territory.
