The Latest Galaxy S22 Leaks: Fast Charging and a New Color

It appears that there’s a new Samsung Galaxy S22 rumor every day at the moment, and today we have unconfirmed bits of information to share about the charging speeds and colors of the upcoming flagship smartphones.

The 5,000mAh battery capacity of the S22 Ultra model has been verified by reputable leaker Ice Universe on Twitter, who claims it will charge at a rate of 45W. That should be enough to charge up to 70% in only 35 minutes.

According to previous leaks, the S22’s battery capacity is 20mAh larger than that of the S20, while charging speed corresponds with previous leaks, so these specifications are now looking more probable than ever. The S22 and S22 Plus, on the other hand, could well charge at a modest 25W.

The color is green.

The third bit of news is about the Galaxy S22 Ultra and concerns the colors that it will come in. Previously, we’d heard that a unique dark red version was on the way, but it now appears that a green variant will be offered as well.

That’s according to GalaxyClub, which is generally regarded as a trustworthy source of Samsung-related information. It’s possible that the S22 Ultra will come in black, white, dark red, and green after all.

GalaxyClub thinks there could be more colors available if the tip is correct. Whether this particular hue is the same as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is unknown, but LetsGoDigital has wasted no time attempting to picture what it’ll look like with some mock-up images.

The S22 Ultra is the one to keep an eye on.

We’ve been inundated with Samsung Galaxy S22 leaks in recent months, providing us a pretty good idea of what’s coming when these phones are finally released – which is expected to be during the first half of 2022.

The terms “Galaxy S22” and “Galaxy S22 Plus” imply something quite different from the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The former two appear to be more of the same, whereas the latter appears to be something entirely new.

Contrast that with the Galaxy S22 Ultra’s rumors, which claim that it will feature an improved design and be marketed as a replacement for the Galaxy Note 22.

It appears to have an improved design and is being positioned as a substitute for the Galaxy Note 22, including S Pen support, a large display, and top-of-the-line specifications (including the rear camera module).
