The OnePlus 11 might debut with 16GB RAM and a high-end ceramic body.

The possible design of the next OnePlus smartphone, the OnePlus 11, has been leaked online again.

The new OnePlus 11 flagship phone may have a ceramic body, according to a post on Weibo from leaker Digital Chat Station. A phone’s body can be made from a variety of materials, but a ceramic one isn’t typically seen in the United States or Canada. Metal could be used for the device’s frame in addition to the rumoured body material.

The Chinese manufacturer may be considering a ceramic back for its next phone to help keep the device cool to the touch. Unlike metal, ceramic doesn’t conduct heat or electricity, making it a pleasant material to hold even during extended periods in front of the screen. Ceramic phones are both beautiful and comfortable to hold.

Then, Digital Chat Station brought up a piece of rumoured information that we’ve heard before regarding the rumoured OnePlus 11 Pro. They say the base 11 version could use faster UFS 4.0 storage and have 16GB of RAM.

In keeping with September’s leaked renders of the alleged OnePlus 11 Pro, it appears we may also be in for a curved display in addition to the standard punch-hole-style camera nestled in the top left of the device.

OnePlus has already confirmed that Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC will be included in their upcoming flagship smartphone. The new chipset will upgrade the next generation of flagship devices from Wi-Fi 6 to Wi-Fi 7 for twice the speed, and it will also include a cutting-edge AI engine.

Further, the release of OnePlus’s next flagship phone has been speculated to take place toward the end of 2022. If the OnePlus 11 with a ceramic body is indeed aiming to reach consumers, then the release date is not too far off.

Given that many high-end smartphones, including the Pixel 7 Pro, have glass backs, this could set the OnePlus 11 apart.
